I brought by friend Beth and her kids out to the farm today and we got very lucky! It was not so hot, overcast and we got sprinkled on a bit! The melons are so pretty out in the field.  I got to pick potatoes for the first time out of the ground.  It is so neat to just move the dirt around and out pops a tiny purple gem of a potato.  Loved it!

Great little story from NPR’s All Things Considered.  Locally grown native desert foods at a restaurant in Sells AZ.  Anyone been here?
