October 2008 – Outstanding in the Field honored us by bringing their special dining event to our South Phoenix main farm last October 2008. People from all over the world came to eat local food while sitting at a beautifully set dining table on a gravel pile next to our field with a view of the freeway. Yeah, we thought they were crazy too but they wanted to make a statement about being able to farm in an urban jungle. We think it’s pretty neat that we’re able to this too.
